Lindsay tagged me a week ago and I’m finally getting around to posting this. My parents left early this morning and not gonna lie I teared up saying good bye. Luckily I will be seeing them in a lil over a month for my cousin’s wedding back on the east coast. Now it’s time to buckle down, get a job and finish up my paper.
I have so many things to blog about from my parents visit, so I figured I’d do my 7 links post now, while I sort thru everything and try to make sense of posting about my parents visit.
For those friends who don’t know about the 7 links posts, it’s basically an overview of old posts and you tag other bloggers to do it after you. I’m pretty sure I’m one of the last people to do it, so I won’t be tagging anyone.
First up Most Beautiful:
I loved all my posts on my trip to Peru. The country is sooo amazing and Machu Picchu is indescribable.
My most popular post would definitely be my guest post on Courtney’s blog Sweet Tooth Sweet Life
. It was a fashion post on what I purchased at the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale. While this post may have gotten me in trouble with my mother, it definitely generated a lot of traffic for my website. You can check it out here
I don’t think any of my posts have really been controversial, so I’ll try and work on that 😉
I think when I first started blogging my posts were actually pretty helpful, I even added tips to the bottom of each post. But this really limited my blogging so I started branching out.
I have more but I really liked my first few blog posts and if you’re new to my blog (not that it’s been around for very long) I think you’ll like these.
I was definitely surprised when my Food Truck Friday posts started out and were really bringing in a lot of readers to my sight. They are by far the most popular posts on my blog and I didn’t expect it, but am so happy to be giving free publicity to them. They work so hard and I love supporting local businesses.
Not Enough Success:
I think my blog overall is just starting to pick up readers so its hard to pick a post that really deserves more success. I’m gonna go with my Sangria recipe. That stuff is AMAZING and if you like sangria you have to make it, trust me I know my sangria
The post I am the most proud of is the one about watching my friend Phil make the November 9 for the World Series of Poker Main Event. I’m just so happy for him and I’m so glad I was able to be there for this huge accomplishment in his life.
I hope you enjoyed my 7 links. And don’t worry I’ll be working on all the blog posts from my parents visit to Vegas!
And any bloggers out there that haven’t done a 7 links post, consider yourself tagged!
