Won’t let the little things get me down

Friday was one of those days where things just didn’t seem to go my way. While I got a lot of stuff done at work, in the last 10 minutes, the project I was working on to present to my boss tomorrow morning first thing, got corrupted via Microsoft word, and I lost it all. No time to stay and fix it or try to figure out, because I had to run to the airport to catch a flight. On my way to the airport I start hearing a flapping sound. It was only a flat tire. Good thing I made it right to the economy parking lot at the airport. I left the car at the airport to deal with today.

I also may have called my mom and cried from being so frustrated. Luckily that made me feel better. I decided I was not going to let these bumps in the road ruin my weekend. I went to Chattanooga, TN. for my cousin Emily’s wedding. I was only going to be in town for 36 hours, but I wanted to make those hours count. I didn’t get there til midnight on the east coast, so I spent a lil bit of time with my parents, said hi to my cousin, Jessica and her bf, Brandon and went to sleep to try to get on east coast time.

Saturday I woke up early for me, before 9 on the east coast!! After a quick breakfast downstairs, some of my family decided to walk around downtown Chattanooga. Before we left I snapped some photos of my lil angel, Jayda, swimming.

I snapped some shots while we were walking around. (My attempt at being artsy)

And some of the family taking a coloring break

They were VERY in to it. It was wayyyy too hot in the sun for this girl. I was checking out the jewelry booths.

This is just the start of the weekend, I’ve got at least two more posts from Saturday alone. I definitely made the most of my trip.
